Charged with stealing money. --A man named Edward Badger was put in the cage yesterday, charged with stealing seventy- six dollars in bank notes, the property of Wm. H. Davis.
Acquitted. --The accused parties were acquitted, yesterday, after an examination by the Mayor into the merits of the accusations made against them, viz: Edward Badger, the soldier charged with stealing $76 in bank notes from Wm. H. Davis, and Peter, slave of Mary C. Lovel, and Joe, slave of Mrs. Letty Nelson, charged with stealing a lot of valuable bed clothing from Jacob Barnes.
