The selectmen were directed to revise the militia roll, and communicate with the proper authorities in relation to the quota of the town. William E. Sparrow, Rev. William L. Parsons, and Wilson Barstow were chosen to confer with Surgeon-General Dale in relation to opening the large unoccupied hotel-building in the town as a hospital for sick and wounded soldiers.
