Death of an army Surgeon. Surgeon John Francis Bell, of the Provisional Army of the Confederate States, died at Gordonville, Va., on the night of the 16th street of typhoid fever. This accomplished in was a native of Kentucky, but had for some years past resided in New Orleans, himself in the mysteries of his high ling ant examination that an appointment as Surgeon was tendered him, and upon its he was assigned to the Department Northern Virginia by the House Secretary of War.
