Mr. Ernest Bellot, of the Minories, in a pamphlet just published, proves that if the war in America is prolonged it will cause heavy losses to the Powers of Europe, more particularly to France and England, on account of the intimate commercial relations existing between the countries, particularly with the Southern portion of the United States, which furnishes these two powers with the greater part of the cotton and tobacco necessary for their manufactories.
