The cage.
--The following parties were yesterday committed to the cage, to be heard before His Honor the Mayor this morning: Harriet, slave of J. W. Blake, charged with stealing between $3,000 and $4,000, the property of her master; and Caroline, slave of Lucinda Pilcher, charged with receiving the same, knowing it to have been stolen.
They were arrested by officers Seal and Ward.
