the residence of the subscriber, in Fluvanna county, Va, on the 11th inst: Manuel, about 30 years of age, 5 feet 8 or 9 inches high, very black and stout, eyes have the appearance of being bloodshot, with a small lamp like a stye upon one of them; he carried with him a good blanket, a blue overcoat and pants, and a pair of new, wooden-sided shoes. Henry, about 20 years of age, 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet high, black and stout, dull countenance, remarkably slow and hesitating is his speech, with a singularity broad pronunciation; had a good blanket, with summer clothing, and new, wooden soled shoes. These negroes were purchased by me in Richmond early in the summer, and came from North Carolina, and will doubtless endeavor to make their way to that State, probably by way of Richmond.
