Charged with murder. --Thomas Boyd, who shot the negro on the Danville bridge on Sunday night, was examined before the Provost Marshal yesterday morning, and turned over to the Mayor to be examined on the charge of murder. It appears from thean employee of the Danville Railroad Company, and that at the time he was shot he was standing still a short distance from Boyd. Some altercation had previously passed between the parties on the subject of a pass, during which the negro may have mad Coroner Sanxay at nine o'clock yesterday morning held an inquest on the body of the negro, when the jury rendered as their verdict that he had been killed by Boyd. Boyd is from Frederick, Md. He remained in the upper station-house last night.
