Negro Thieves.
--Wm. Stephens, a Petersburg free negro, here without papers, and having a bottle of brandy stolen from the Secession Club House; John and Isham, negro boatmen, stealing Confederate iron; and Lewis, slave to Turpin &Yarborough, stealing a watch from Joseph H. Brown, were all tried before the Mayor yesterday and sentenced to the lash.
