Postponed. --The examination of Mrs. Patterson Allan, which was to have been submitted to Commissioner Watson for his decision in the matter yesterday, was postponed till Friday next, on account of the absence of important testimony. [Note.--In publishing the evidence of Mrs. Catherine Burruss, a few days since, it was stated that Major Charles Dix, son of Gen. Dix, stood by on board the flag of truce boat at Fortress Monroe, and permitted the baggage belonging to the other ladies coming South to be searched, while Mrs. Allan's trunk was not opened. Her testimony was that lady was allowed to bring through the lines certain articles which others were not permitted to retain in their possession.]
