Fatal encounter. --A desperate encounter took place at West Point, Miss., on Christmas day, between Mr. P. Cash and James Kinney, in which the former was killed. They fought with bowie-knives one of the most desperate fights ever witnessed. Kinney was literally cut to pieces, receiving eight wounds, but it is not thought they will prove mortal, as he was able to leave for home this evening. Cash's throat was cut from ear to ear.
