Senate, has been sojourning in our midst for several weeks past A very suspicious character, supposed to be Chipman, the murderer of Martha Peniz, of Guilford county, N. C., was arrested on the Norfolk and Seaboard Railroad, and brought to this city yesterday. Gov. Ellis offers a reward of $1,000 for Chipman, and the description given of him answers exactlyn sojourning in our midst for several weeks past A very suspicious character, supposed to be Chipman, the murderer of Martha Peniz, of Guilford county, N. C., was arrested on the Norfolk and Seaboard Railroad, and brought to this city yesterday. Gov. Ellis offers a reward of $1,000 for Chipman, and the description given of him answers exactly to the appearance of the man arrested.
