Robbery.
--On Wednesday night last, a thief entered the laundry connected with the residence of Alexander Brooks, corner of Grace and Madison streets, and stole a large quantity of clothing belonging to the family.
The entrance was effected through a window.
It is very well for owners of premises to make everything as secure as possible, particularly as Christmas times approach; but we know that when the utmost caution is observed, adroit thieves are sometimes successful in their marauding enterprises.
