A Merited Sentence
--On Thursday last, in the Supreme Court of New York, William Selover, convicted of selling a bogus passenger ticket for Spofford & Tileston's Liverpool line of packets, was sentenced to two years imprisonment in the penitentiary.
He had been formerly sent to prison for a similar of fence, but was pardoned out by Gov. Clarke.
