where they were paroled to report again this morning. The charges against them are disloyalty, and refusing to take the oath of allegiance on the late election day in the State, viz: 4th of November. The following are their names: Ex Gov. Thos. G. Pratt. Col. Jos. H. Nicholson, Nicholson Green, Clerk of Anne Arundel County Circuit Court; Jas. R. Ewell, State Attorney for the same county; Mr. Miller, late reporter of the Maryland Court of Appeals; Robert W. Tate, Benjamin Watkins, Wm. Tell Claude, W. H. McPerlin, G. W. Duvall, Edwin Royle, B. Longue, Dr. F. S. Owens, Jas. E. Tate, and D. Claude Handley. Thos. Franklin, formerly State Senator from Anne Arundel Co., was also arrested, but owing to his age was permitted to remain in Annapolis, under guard. It was also stated that the members of the Grand Jury for Anne Arundel Co. had been arrested, and would be brought to this city under guard to-day.
