At a regular Meeting of the above Division, the following preamble and resolutions were unanimously adopted: Whereas. It has pleased an all-wise Providence to remove from our midst our esteemed brother, John W. Scully, in consideration of the many good qualities which were exhibited in his character, rendering him worthy of our remembrance, and as a tribute of respect towards him, it is therefore-- Resolved, That we sincerely sympathize with the relatives and friends of the deceased in the affliction which they must feel at the loss of one so well worthy of their warmest and most cherished affections. Resolved, That the Division wear the usual badge of mourning for thirty days. Resolved, That a copy of these resolutions be sent to the family of the deceased, and to the Virginia Conductor and Daily Dispatch for publication. Robert E. Richardson, Com. Benjamin F.
