and George Bunger, two paroled Yankees, were charged with stealing from the residence of Mr. Alexander Craig, residing about two miles from the city, on Sunday night last, about $975 in silver coin,lued at $2,000, two watch chains, and other articles of greater or less value, the property of Mr. Craig. The evidence of the complainant against these parties was plain and conclusive. On Sunday ny the servants, while Coiner and Bunker entered the house, and, with pistol in hand, compelled Mr. Craig to go from room to room and unlock every drawer and trunk he possessed, from which they took tes enumerate above, besides a large collection of papers, bonds, one gun,&c. On Monday morning Mr. Craig came to this city and informed the police of the robbery, when, in a short while afterwards, s a reprimand. Virginia Wilkerson, charged with receiving certain articles belonging to Alexander Craig, knowing them to have been stolen, was remanded for examination before the Hustings Court.
