Hustings Court. --The Justices composing this Court disposed of the following cases yesterday: William Wall, selling liquor in violation of law. Fined $60 and costs. Joseph John McCarthy, charged with the murder of his wife Helen, on 26th of November. Examined and remanded for final trial before Judge Lyons. Wade and Sam, slaves, stealing clothing and other articles of Alexander Culpeper, ordered 39 each. Edward and Daniel, slaves, breaking into the Powhatan bar-room and stealing one barrel of whiskey. Ordered 39 each. The other negroes accused were acquitted. George, slave to John Clendening, stealing four yards of cloth of John C. Shafer. --Acquitted.
