The record of the war votes of Gill has been furnished in a form different from that of the other towns. We are indebted to Mr. Cummings, town clerk anMr. Cummings, town clerk and treasurer, for the following record:— During the whole war the town almost unanimously voted to sustain the General Government, and held repeated war-meetings to raise volunteers; raised some half dozen flag-staffs, and procured as many flags, and put things through generally.
