Marylanders --The persecuted citizens of Maryland continue to escape to Virginia. Many of them are marked men, whose time for arrest is only postponed for fear of making the excitement too great by a wholesale capture and imprisonment of all that are put under the ban. We yesterday conversed with Mr. P. S. O. Curry, of Frederick, Md., who has just reached this city, after making a narrow escape. He made an unsuccessful attempt first via Hagerstown, but was cut off from retreat by the vigilance of the spies. He then succeeded, it matters not how, as others may come off in the same way. He brought his family with him. He represents the system of espionage established by the tyrants over the citizens of Maryland as vigilant, and the persons employed in it to be utterly heartless. The people are plunged into the deepest effiction and humiliation, and sigh and years for the coming of the day of deliverance, what they believe, and we hope truly, is to come before long. Ex-Gove
