genial response to her demand so much appreciated by the candidate for histrionic fame — a crowded house. The bill offered is an attractive one, consisting of L. Vella great play of the "Wife's Secret'," which has been so successful at Laura Keene's Theatre, New York, in which she will sustain the character of the "Lady Eveline," one that is admirably suited to her talent, and which, we are convinced, she will do full justice to. In addition to the above, she will appear in her great character of the "Duchess of Maifi," in which she has gained a reputation not exceeded by the "great Cushman." Mr. Waller will also appear as Sir Walter, in the first piece, and Ferdinand, in the last, both of which, we are assured by the management, will be properly placed upon the stage, embracing in the casts the entire strength of the company. We sincerely trust the appeal of the fair beneficiary will be cheerfully responded to by our citizens. Mr. and Mrs. Waller will appear at Boston next week.
