rst president. The Christian Endeavor Society was formed in 1887. Mr. Wm. H. Breed was its first officer. This and all other church work was dear to his heart. His labors were abundant and unceasing in the interests of the church until his removal from town. The Farther Lights Society was organized in 1890. Miss L. Ella Gilman was its first president.
