General Assembly of Virginia. Senate. Thursday, Feb. 20, 1862. The Senate was called to order at 12 o'clk by the President, and opened with prayer by Bishop Early. A message from the House announced the passage of a number of Senate bills; also, House bill refunding to the securities of Thos. R. Davis, late Sheriff of Prince William county, damages paid by them as such, which was referred to the Committee on Finance and Claims.
