wing interesting intelligence from our Southern exchanges: Lead and Salt Mines in Danger. The Abingdon (Va.) Democrat, of the 15th, says: A courier arrived here on Thursday evening from Gen. Marshall's headquarters with intelligence that 6,000 Yankee troops were advancing on the Buchanan and Tazewell road for the purpose of seizing the Salt Works, Lead Mines and Railroad.
