--The following named Slaves left the Piedmont Railroad at Danville, on the 28th August:
Davy--5 feet 2½ inches high, yellow, hazel eyes right arm has been broken, about 30 years old. Bought of Wm. Borahan, of Southampton county.

Lost negro man found.
--Davy, a tall, black, negro man, with short whiskers and moustache, and clothed in homespun about half worn, was delivered to me for safekeeping by Conductor W. E. Taylor last Saturday week.--Davy says he belongs to Joe. Wright, of Pittsylvania county, about 30 miles from Danville, and was on his way to wait on his young master, who is a Lieutenant in Gen. Wise's Brigade.
The owner will please come forward, prove property, pay charges, and take his servant.

Dickinson at the auction house of Dickinson so Hill, in Richmond and was purchased by H. Edmondson, of whom I purchased him. A reasonable reward will be paid if taken up and secured in any bill so I get him again, or delivered to me at Bell's Roads, Louisa county, Va.

--The city police yesterday arrested Davy, slave of Nancy Rowlett, for threatening to kill Elizabeth Williams; Alice Saunders for being found drunk in a passage way; John Harding and William Johnson for fighting in the street.

Mayor's Court.
--The proceedings of this Court yesterday were entirely void of interest.
Davy, slave of Mary Rowlett, was ordered a backing for threatening to kill Elizabeth Williams, a white woman.
John Harding and William Johnson were required to give security for engaging in a mutual rencontre on Main street.
