Colonel Dimmock.
A tribute of praise is due to Col. Dimmock for the admirable system and almost superhuman energy with which he is administering the matters entrusted to his charge.
We need not speak more particularly, but understand that he has accomplished, with the force under his charge, within the last thirty days, what, in the usual course of things in the Federal Government, requires six months. We need not say more.
He is the right man in the right place, beyond all doubt.
