--A few nights ago the dwelling of the Rev. Mr. Van Dyke, of Brooklyn, who, a few months ago, preached a great sermon against abolitionism, was surrounded by an infuriated mob in Brooklyn.
The Rev. gentleman "defined his position," and thus escaped the vengeance of the friends of "free speech," a "free press," and "free men."
