r the purpose of five. That Wm. Woodbridge, Captain Wyman, Mr. A. Hall, Abijah Usher and John Bishop be the committee. June 22, 1795, it was voted to give Mr. Wm Woodbridge £ 220 with the old school-house and land, he agreeing to build a new school house agreeable to the Report of the Committee, The Inside to be Finished. Mr. Woodbridge to provide one Stove. The whole to be done to the Satisfaction of a committee to be chosen for that purpose. Voted That Benjamin Hall Esqr. Thomas Brooks Esq. Mr. James Wyman Mr. Eben Hall Junr and Mr Richard Hall be a Committee to see that the Schoolhouse is Built agreeable to Contract. This building was finished before Jan. 15, 1796, for on that date William Woodbridge was paid the final instalment on his contract of £ 220. Capt.
