Bills Passed.--Senate bill to increase the pay of certain officers of the Public Guard; House bill to amend chapter 108 of the Code, concerning births, marriages and deaths. On motion of Mr. Douglass, House bill providing for payment of the Peace Commissioners was taken up, and he offered the following amendments: To insert $10 per day instead of $8; also, to give $6 per day additional to John Tyler.
