Police Arrests. --The following parties have been arrested and committed to prison for examination before the Mayor this morning: John and Abraham, slaves of Richard Farley; Cæsar, slave of Robert C Epperson, and William, slave of Wm Lewis, charged with stealing $350 in Virginia-Treasury notes, one $5 State of North-Carolina note, one $50 and three $10 C S notes, and other papers and writings, of the value of $3,000, the property of W E Leffew. Barney McGuire was arrested, charged with being drunk and sleeping on the side-walk while on duty as a watchman at Weisiger's Government store.
