The Minute Girls of South Carolina--Excitement in Pittsburg, &c. New England Societies. The New England Society, of New York, composed of natives and descendants of New England, celebrated the 240th anniversary of the landing of the "Pilgrim Fathers" on Saturday night, by a dinner. A portion of the able-cloth used was brought over on the "Mayflower." Among the speakers were James W.
