Captures effected by the police. --The following persons were captured during Saturday night and on yesterday: James W. Ford — drunk, disorderly and suspicious; Solomon, slave of J. Whitlock, having a box of matches and a salt-cellar, supposed to have been stolen; Watt, slave of the Danville Railroad and Jno. W.
