n, S. C. --A letter from Georgetown, S. C., under date of the 29th ult., received in Charleston, says: The alarm of fire was sounded in this town on Friday morning about half-past 2 o'clock. It originated in or about the warehouse of S. S. Fraser, and so rapid was the progress of the flames that scarcely was time given to the gentleman who had the keys of the office and safe, to save Mr. Fraser's books and papers.
