Sent on for felony. --Lorenzo W. Frayser, a young man of about twenty summers, was examined yesterday before a called. Court of Magistrates, on the charge of breaking into a lodging room in the law office of John N. Davis, and stealing therefrom $30 worth of wearing apparel and other articles. Frayser, it seems, knew that two of the sons of Mr. Davis slept in the room during the week, so that they could attend school in the city, and that they went to their father's, in the county, everyFrayser, it seems, knew that two of the sons of Mr. Davis slept in the room during the week, so that they could attend school in the city, and that they went to their father's, in the county, every Friday afternoon, and remained there till Monday morning. In their absence the room was forcibly entered and robbed, and the very next night a portion of the stolen articles were found upon the prisoner's person. After a patient hearing of the case, the accused was remanded for felony before Judge Lyons' Court. He was offered bail, but finding no one to join him in the bond, was remanded to prison.
