Franklin of $200, a silver watch, his commission as captain in the army, and other articies Gannon, a stalwart- looking ruffian, with British papers, maintained during the examination a composed look, but rather defiant attitude, evidendy considerning that he had been robbed, went back and arrested a number of men, among whom was Kelley and Gannon — On the former they found Franklin's pocket diary and $15 of his money; on the latter, his commss, who saw the robesery perpetrated, testified to his belief that another comrade of Kelley and Gannon had gotten the principal part of Franklin's money.
