, and an, old and well known citizen of Petersburg, committed suicide, on the promises of H. W. Siggins, in Blandford, on Wednesday morning, by shooting himself with a pistol. The Express says: An inquest was held over the remains, when it was ascertained from the testimony of witnesses that the deceased had been in a troubled and partially deranged state of mind for some time past, and had not unfrequently threatened to take his life. He yesterday morning borrowed a revolver from Mr. Garrett, of Blandford, (who did not suspect the use to which he applied it,) and shortly afterwards told Mr. B. H.
