Manassas, Oct. 22. --Gen. Evans, with 2,500 Confederates, engaged Gen. Stone. with 10,000 Federals, at Leesburg, on yesterday. The battle lasted all day, and the Confederates were victorious. The Federal loss was 400 killed and wounded--520 were taken prisoners; and 300 Federals were drowned while trying to recross the Potomac. The Confederate loss was 300 killed and wounded. In addition concerning the victory of Genevan, I have to report the capture of nearly 600 prisoners, and 1,200 stand of arms. Their killed and wounded and prisoners amount to between 1,000 and 1,200.
