House-breaking. --On Wednesday night last, the store-room of Mr. George W.H. Tyler was broken into and robbed of candles, brandy, bacon, etc. Yesterday morning officer Quarles was apprised of the robbery, and by the aid of Mr. Tyler, succeeded in discovering the robbers and recovering a portion of the stolen articles. One of the robbers was a crippled negro, known as Hanover, the property of Mr. Tyler; and the other was a slave named Alexander, in the service of Mr. Rowe, a cooper. They will be examined before the Mayor this morning.
