Applications to the Council.
--In accordance with a recommendation of the Commissioners of Streets, the Council, on Monday evening, granted the application of Paul Bargamin, to be permitted to construct a neat iron railing on the 10th street side of his new building, projecting over the sidewalk, but not encroaching upon it. The application of John & George Gibson, to be permitted to extend the front of the new building which they are constructing near the corner of Main and 13th streets, for Keen.
Baldwin & Williams, sixteen inches upon the sidewalk by the erection of iron columns thereon, was rejected.
