Mr. Lee moved that Mr. Garrett be permitted to make a statement, acott moved to go into an election of Measurer of Wood. Agreed to. Mr. Epps nominated John F. Glazebrook, and he was elected. The question of fees was referred to the Committee on Markets, with ears to the 15th of January, instead of the 20th of December. The ordinance was passed. Mr. Glazebrook made a statement relative to the abuses of bucksters in the markets, they having erected booed that the resolution be referred to the Committee on Finance; and it was so referred. Mr. Glazebrook offered a resolution instructing the City Engineer to have the grading of Twelfth street donirected by the City Engineer. Mr. Crutchfield opposed the passage of the resolution and Mr. Glazebrook advocated it. The resolution passed. Mr. Lee offered a resolution fixing the salary of
