The military to-day, --We have for given an account of the trial by the Central Court- Martial of Henry Squires, a member of the Purcell Battery, Capt. Wm. J. Pogram, who was found gulity of an attempt to desert to the enemy and condemned to be shot to death therefor. The criminal would have been execured about ten days since by the original sentence, had be was respited until to-day. Yesterday evening the condemned man was called for Codwin Godwin, and left that prison in a furniture in custody of a Sergeant and two soldiers, and on his own coffin. Judging from his did not like the appearance of things much, Mr will he executed at Camp Mecdow Bridge between the hours of nine and tweive to-day. We stand that there are about twenty drels confined in Castle Godwin, who deserve hanging as much as Squires, and justice will be chacted of its dues if they are not summarily and up for their many offences.
