Shooting in Norfolk
--We are informed by a member of the Richmond Grays, who arrived here last evening, that a blind man named Lafayette Godwin was shot by a sentinel in Suffolk on Tuesday night last.
Mr. Godwin, it appear, was hailed by the colonel, when the former first two shots from a which the sentinel returned with fatal effect.
It was, from all we can learn, an unfori a mistake all around.
