o-morrow morning. A saint under the Confiscation Act was brought in the United States District Court, to-day, before Judge Smalley. The defendant is a Mr. James B. Guthrie, the owner of $15,000 Virginia bonds. The District Attorney, on the part of the Government, contends that he was about removing said property to Virginia, in September last, in violation of the act prohibiting commercial intercourse with the rebellious States.
