The third and last forgery was on the firm of Laniers, Tolleson & Callett, for $323, which had been cashed by Mr. Chas. C. Hanes, of the firm of Pulliam, Hanes & Co. The same means had been resorted to to obtain the money in this case as in the others above mentioned, and the Mayor, after satisfying himself that this check was also forged, sent it on to the Hustings gnature being a forgery, and further examination was deferred to the Hustings Court, on Monday next.
