Burglary --Yesterday morning a negro named Frank, the property of William Hardgrove, was before the Mayor for having in his possession and offering to sell two rolls of wall paper, stolen from Miles C. Phillips. On the night of the 20th June Mr. Phillips's residence, on 2d street, was forcibly entered and robbed of two rolls of wall paper, a large blanket, and various articles of wearing apparel. Some few days after the robbery the prisoner offered to sell two rolls of paper similar to these stolen from Mr. Phillips, which he now says he purchased of a negro. To enable the police to make further inquiries, the examination was adjourned till to-morrow.
