Hatton, Frank -1894
Born in Cambridge, O., April 28, 1846.
On the outbreak of the Civil War he enlisted in the 98th Ohio Infantry; subsequently received a commission as first lieutenant.
At the close of the war he removed to Iowa, where he conducted the Burlington Hawkeye.
In 1884 he was appointed Postmaster-General, having served three years previously as Assistant Postmaster-General.
He died in Washington, D. C., April 30, 1894.
