Brown, Burnett, Caperton, Clark, Haynes, Henry, Johnson, of Ark., Maxwell, Oldham, Orr, Reade, Semmes, Simms, Sparrow and Wigfall--15. Noes--Messrs. Hill, Hunter, Jemison, Johnson, of Georgia and Phelan--6. The following are the committee's resolutions. Resolved, That in the opinion ofJohnson, of Georgia and Phelan--6. Resolved, That in the opinion of the Senate, A C Myers is now Quartermaster General of the Confederate States Army, and is by law authorized and required to discharge the duties thereof.
