The New C. S. Senators.
--Of the present Senatorial representation in Congress the terms of eight expire in February, to wit: Messrs. Clay, of Alabama; Johnston, of Arkansas; Johnston, of Georgia; Baker, of Florida, Simms, of Kentucky; Phelan, of Mississippi; Clark, of Missouri; Davis, of North Carolina. Messrs. Johnston, ofJohnston, of Georgia; Baker, of Florida, Simms, of Kentucky; Phelan, of Mississippi; Clark, of Missouri; Davis, of North Carolina. Messrs. Johnston, of Georgia; and Baker, of Florida; have been re-elected.
Mr. Phelan is superceded by J. W. C. Watson, and Mr. Davis by Wm A. Graham, formerly candidate for the Vice-Presidency with Fillmore.
The vacancies from the border States will probably be supplied by appointment, the Legislatures being unable to assemble for the purpose of fMessrs. Johnston, of Georgia; and Baker, of Florida; have been re-elected.

The army of Tennessee. Dalton, Dec. 18.
--Gen. Joseph E. Johnston, having been appointed to the command of the Army of Tennessee, is expected here early next week.
Major-Gen. Hindman has arrived and resumed command of his old division.
Persons desirous of permission to enter these lines with clothing for troops should address their communications to the commandants of regiments to which their friends belong, in order that their statements may serve as vouchers or guides for action to the commanding General.
Sherman's corps has fallen back from Knoxville.
It passed through Cleveland day before yesterday, on its way to Chattanooga.
