Geo. M. Hiss, Treasurer of the Mutual Fire Insurance Company of Baltimore, has absconded with $30,000 of the company's money. His character heretofore was "irreproachable." Twenty pickpockets, who had stolen, in the aggregate, two thousand five hundred dollars, were arrested in Buffalo, New York, during Lincoln's visit there. Wm. M.
