Kenney, a soldier, was arraigned for stealing a gold watch and chain, worth $75, from Martha M. Herman. The prisoner was arrested on a warrant which charged him with stealing the property within the last six weeks. Directions were given the officestings Court; but, on a suggestion by Capt. E. M. Booker, as 1st act Provost Marshal, that he was now being tried by Court-Martial for a military offence, the case was delayed for ten days, the witnesses being ordered to report on next Saturday.
