A bill for the relief of Levi Johnson was rejected — ayes 6, noes 70. Election of State officers. The special order of the day, being the election of a General Agent and Storekeeper of the Penitentiary, was called. For this office Mr. Robertson, of Richmond, nominated Walter D. Blair; Mr. Crockett nominated Mitchell B. Tate; Mr. Mallory nominated John T. Knote; Mr. Corenove nominated Robert M. Nimme. On the 9th ballot Mr. Mimmo was duly elected. A message was received from the Senate with the following nominations for the remaining officer: First Auditor, J. M., Sennett; Second Auditor, Henry W. Thomas, of Fairfax; Treasurer. John S.
